What’s included in the program?
Each student will receive an individual account with a login name and password for the online program. Teacher accounts and materials are included (1 per 20 students). Accounts are active for one school year (August through June).
Can I get a demo?
Sure! Please contact us at info@decisioneducation.org to speak with our e-Learning Coordinator.
What does the demo entail?
A demo consists of a web-based meeting that explains the virtual Moodle platform, runs through course overview and online lessons, reviews the support materials, and answers questions. Short term trial accounts can be provided after the demo for individual review.
What is the underlying platform?
MOODLE, an Open Source Course Management System that hosts the lessons and allow the students work at their own pace, capture their responses, engage in discussions, blog and more.
What kind of teacher support is available?
Teacher guides for each lesson including roadmaps, rubrics, target skill sets, lesson objectives and plans; discussion questions; classroom activities; project ideas; suggested assessments; and technical support.
When can I have it?
Beta testing is slated for Fall 2011 and the production of “It’s Your Choice” v.1 is projected for Spring 2012.
